However, the test linked above merely offers an "Install Microsoft Silverlight" icon. I am so busy with work and school the idea of spending more hours on this is making me bonkers. I still can not watch anything on netflix. I have checked my firewalls they are not connected. I tried the firefox shut of my browser and restart.

To start with, can anyone tell me if this Silverlight test works for them on Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.1) ? Netflix does not work in any browser and the main reason i need it fixed is for a program that i use named Fender Fuse that uses silverlight. The Add-in is marked as having been installed, however. i have reinstalled it multiple times and uninstalled it completely multiple times. We are working on a Silverlight banner on a redesign of our site and the Silverlight content works fine in all browsers except Firefox 3 (PC v3.0.7,8 or Mac v3.0.8).
